WORK + LIFE
I recently started doing a little bit of meditation first thing in the morning after waking up.
I enjoy going on nature walks, reading books, listening to music, and watching movies.
Right now, I’m reading
“Atonement” by Ian McEwan
It’s really good. It reminds me a little bit of Yabu no Naka by Ryunosuke Akutagawa.
Other personal favourites include “The Stranger” by Albert Camus and “The Dharma Bums” by Jack Kerouac.
My favourite movies include a few older ones by the Hong Kong filmmaker, Wong Kar-wai (Chungking Express, In the Mood for Love).
For Japanese movies, a personal favourite is Hirokazu Kore-eda’s Maboroshi no Hikari.
For music, I enjoy jazz, blues, rock, and hip hop sometimes.
